As our outsourced accounting business grows, we are seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Controller, assisting to manage every aspect of the accounting workflow and month end close processes for multiple businesses.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Seeking a Controller to manage and oversee all accounting transactions for multiple operational sites and legal entities. The individual will be responsible for all accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll transactions, along with general accounting and financial reporting functions and will report directly to the CFO of the respective company or ownership group.

This position is located in Seal Beach, CA at 3030 Old Ranch Parkway.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Processing all bill pay items
  • Preparing customer invoices on a monthly basis
  • Processing payroll and employee reimbursements
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts, when applicable
  • Account reconciliations including bank accounts, fixed assets, AR, AP and all other balance sheet accounts for all legal entities.
  • Responsible for general journal entries such as depreciation, COGS, accruals, payroll and amortizing prepaid expenses.
  • Generate weekly, mid-month, and month-end financial reports including consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements as well as monthly KPI’s.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS / BACKGROUND INCLUDE:

  • Ability to maintain organization across multiple companies
  • Ability to proactively communicate with a variety of roles to both report to and guide
  • BS/ BA Degree with a concentration in accounting
  • 5 to 7+ years’ work experience within an accounting firm or accounting department
  • com, T-sheets, QuickBooks Online experience preferred but not required
  • Above average skills in Excel and other MS Office products
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and work in an entrepreneurial atmosphere
  • Resolve problems and present appropriate business solutions and recommendations.
