You may be used to dealing with a ‘typical’ or ‘normal’ CPA firm…but that’s not us. We’re not merely accountants, or someone with a CPA license. We too run a family business, so we know the challenges & how it feels. We apply that knowledge and understanding to everything we do with you.
Whittaker & Company are a boutique firm. You could choose to work with a much bigger CPA firm, but regardless of the size of the firm, you’ll still have a small team of people working with you. It’s important that this small team be composed of people that you like.
The most important story to us is yours. What makes you tick? What frustrates you about the accounting industry, and how can we help you address that? We’re here to share our story with you, and listen to yours.
How do you know if you’ve outgrown your CPA? As the owner, you could do a lot more with the business when it was small, but as it has grown, you need to let go, bring people in to support you, and build a team. However, you’re hesitant to let go of certain pieces of the business. And you may not be clear on what the issues are.
We’ve created a unique knowledge base of technical information that you can access to get your technical tax and accounting questions answered – by an experienced CPA with whom you have a connection and a relationship. Going online or using a search function to find answers to complex tax and accounting questions may seem easy, but it can be dangerous. Later, you may discover that the advice was not correct, or didn’t cover all your needs.
Register to be notified when our Knowledge Base is available so that you can not only ask your questions, but receive the follow up you need to ensure that the question helped address the real issue in your business or life. We will check in with you to ensure that you got what you needed, and we’ll have a record of it in case you have future related questions.Register now
